Up, Up and Away!

It was a great experience for the children and the facilitators, when the project

Up, Up and Away was done as a part of Project Based Learning.

The project was about doing experiment on the Airlift Technology. We

collected all materials needed for the project.

Facilitators made a huge aircraft model out of paper and children joined in at

assembling the parts. Children got acquainted with the main parts of aircraft.

Airlift principle was briefly explained to the children

The wing cross section was set up to show the actual flying.

Positioned hairdryer to maintain airflow.

Children took turns to fly the wing cross section in our science corner.

Every time the wing went up there was huge laughter and joy.

That is the time we early educators realise how exciting is to learn through

projects. As our little one said, “Ma'am I am having fun”- music to our ears. Yes,

it is FUN! Wish we studied in a preschool like this!
