Day 5: Frame work of Pedagogical Practices

Welcome Back!

If you are here on Day 5 without going through Day 1 and Day 4 we would urge you to go through the Day 1 to Day 4 Topics and reflect upon it and then get back here.

Did you reflect upon yesterday’s topic “Contemporary Approaches? How did you enjoy reflecting on it? Let us get into our Day 5 Reading.

Today we will see the framework of pedagogical practices.

Ask yourself the question. How learners learn best?

Learning Environment

Don’t you think that every situation is a learning situation, every place is a place to learn.

Children are not subjects or subjected to learning, they are active constructors of learning. Children learn not only in an environment dedicated to learning, they learn both with and in an environment.

Reflect on this.

Multimodal Learning

Multimodal learning is a mixed method approach based on a combination of different modalities/modes/media (visual, aural/auditory, read/write, kinesthetic and others) in order to interpret, create meanings or produce various types of messages
