What is Sakalya?

Nestled within the residential colony, “Nanasu” located on  on Seegehalli Chickabanahalli  Road, within 500m from Maitri sycon villas and upcoming Prestige Sterling project, Whitefield, Bangalore, Sakalya Prep, is a holistic preschool  for early childhood care and education, away from the commotion of city traffic and noise pollution. The school has wide approach road from Whitefield Main Road alongside the Banahalli Lake.

The building is designed by renowned education infrastructure designers in consultation with specialised early years educationists . Our aesthetic interiors are designed by IKEA Bangalore.

In addition, we guarantee high-quality equipment, materials and toys for your child to enjoy. School has safe monitoring systems –CCTV which is closely watched by the staff. Meanwhile, you can be secure in the knowledge that they will learn, play, eat and rest in exceptional surroundings. 

We have School transport facility which ferries children from the neighbourhood. Our School van is  under GPRS tracking and CCTV surveillance. Through our app, parents get real time notification when the children pick up and embus, debus and enter class, leave class and embus and  debus and drop off.

Lt Col Bincy Kanjirathinal Thomas (Retd)
She is a mother, a retired army officer,  a certified Early Education Leader from Harvard University, USA and an edupreneur who is passionate about creating holistic education space for learners. Her journey started when she became a mother. Ever since, she has been engaging herself in the research on the best education space and model for children. Her 21 years service in Army Educational Corps, Indian Army...

Col Mahesh Pratap Singh (Retd)
Col Mahesh Pratap Singh, SM, in the span of two and a half decades of service in The Indian Army, served as Instructor at National Defence Academy and Indian Military Academy. During his stints to the manage the schools run under the aegis of Ministry of Defence he served a Vice Principal of Sainik School Nagrota (in J&K} and subsequently headed the Sainik School Chittorgarh (Rajasthan). He is a qualified Sports and Counselling Psychologist who integrates the early childhood and parenting psychology into the Sakalya’s bespoke holistic curriculum.
